Playoffs Bound

Playoffs Bound

State championships start in your district. Rivalries are always important in high school football, but district games are what matter the most.

District games mean the most to every team. District games can make or break your season. If you start out 0-6 but win your two out of your three district games, you are going to the playoffs. So far, Heights is 1-0 in district play and if they win one more game they are headed to the playoffs.

This week, Heights plays the Southeast Buffaloes. The Buffaloes are (2-5) overall and (0-1) in district play. The last time Heights was not in the playoffs was the 2007-2008 season.

District games are just as important as rivalry games because if you win your season stays alive but if you loose your season is over. Make sure to be at all of your district games to support your tem as they fight to go to the playoffs.
