One Game at a Time

Boys Soccer

Tuesday afternoon held the first home game for the Heights Varsity and JV soccer. JV played their first game against West at 5:30. They came out victorious with a 3-2 win.

The JV soccer team started the game with 1-1. The issue in the previous game was breakdowns with the defense. By the end of the first half and majority of the second half Heights had shut down West. Giving up 2 goals to West shows there is still room for improvement. “This team can be so much better when everyone is playing at their best and being proactive,” said Coach Reece.

The team will play in the JV Titan Classic starting Thursday. With a 2-1 record the team is off to a solid start. It’s still early in the season but the team is extremely motivated and is taking one game at a time with a long season ahead.
