Advocacy is a study hall for all of the students a Heights and is much needed by many students. There is talk of changing advocacy to an elective, I disagree with it very much. Advocacy is used for getting involved with clubs, going to assemblies and doing homework.

If not all of the school had advocacy, there would be no time for students to get involved with clubs and go to assemblies. Advocacy helps students get their homework done, which means the student doesn’t need to stay up late or as late. It also means students can get more sleep and be more focused the next day at school. Advocacy should stay as a school-wide class.
