The Heights Forensics season is coming to a close. We brought home 25 Medals between 17 people with multiple kids earning more than one medal. I asked Coach Young how she thought the season went and she said it went “very well. That all of her squad worked hard to attain their goals.” She also said that the season was “a lot of fun and that she was very proud of her squad.”

We have a total 2 people qualified for state and 6 people qualified for nationals.

The two who are qualified for state are: Taylor Jennings in Poetry & Dat Trin in Extemp. State this year will be at Valley Center high school on Saturday May 6th.

Those who are qualified for nationals are: Taylor Jennings in Oil (which is poetry and prose), Dat Trin in Extemp, Rachel Blue and Valerie Vallin in Duo, And Cyla Hoefgen and Mackenzie Johnson in Public forum debate. The NCFL National tournament will be in Louisville, Kentucky on May 27th & 28th.
Help support the Heights Forensics team in our journey to state and nationals.
