A: My dream is to make a Junior National cut in the 200 Backstroke.

A: I got my name from my Great Grandmother Katie, Great Grandma Katherine and Grandma Lynn.

Q: What are your main goals in life?

A: My main goals in life are to make the Olympic Trials, and to have a successful career.

Q: How do you overcome adversity?

A: When problems occur, I keep my chin up and move forward.

Q: What is your greatest fear?

A: My greatest fear in life is dying at a young age and not being able to live a long life.

Dawson “Boone” Gantenbein, a sophomore at Heights, is looking forward to attending the Naval Academy.

Q: What dreams are you chasing?

A: I want to attend the Naval Academy.

Q: Where did you get your name?

A: I got my name from my Great Grandpa Floyd Boone.

Q: What are your main goals in life?

A: I want to be in the Navy and get married before the age of 40.

A: When I face adversity, I like to sit and cope.

Q: What is your greatest fear?

A: My greatest fear is Heights High School, and orangutans.

Zach Pitcher, a junior at Heights High School, is trying to become a PGA Tour player.

Q: What dreams are you chasing?

A: I’m chasing my dream of becoming a PGA Tour player.

Q: Where did you get your name?

A: My name comes from the prophet, Zachary, in the Bible.

Q: What are your main goals in life?

A: My main goals in life are to graduate from high school, go on to college, and play golf, then graduate from college, and go to the PGA Tour.

Q: How do you overcome adversity?

A: I just think that tomorrow is a new day and it will bring new opportunities.

Q: What is your greatest fear?

A: My greatest fear is losing a family member.

Dale Heckman, gym teacher at Heights High School, wants to influence students to be the best that they can be.

A: I’m looking to better myself; also to do everything to the best of my ability.

Q: Where did you get your name?

A: I got my name from my father who was in the Marines and played football at Wichita State for one year.

Q: What are your main goals in life?

A: I want to influence kids to be the best they can be, but also I want to be the best I can be and be an example.

Q: How do you overcome adversity?

A: I work harder. I try to find the problem and then fix the problem.

Q: What is your greatest fear?

A: My greatest fear would be to have one of my children die before I do.
