New York 2020 trip planned for Spring Break

Heights is ready to participate in a once in a lifetime trip.

Heights is participating in the New York/Chicago 2020 trip over spring break. Anyone is allowed to sign up, due to it being a trip for anyone. Currently all the official spots are taken up, but a couple of stand-by slots are left, free for anyone who wants to make a last minute reservation. The group of people going will travel through New York and Chicago and see nine shows.

Derrick Gronewald, the theater teacher from East, is running the trip. It is a week of seeing Broadway shows such as Six, Beetlejuice, Hamilton, etc. The group will also visit Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, museums, and other fun tourist attractions. Currently there is a group of 102 students and sponsors for Wichita.

Anyone interested in the standby slots need to talk to Stuart Graham in the drama room. To sign up, the flier is on The trip lasts from March 13th, 2020 to March 22, 2020. Final sign up date is TBD, but deposits will be required immediately.
