Falcon Band debuts 2019 show

Marching band season has arrived! This fall, the band’s highly anticipated marching show is Secretum Societatis (Secret Society). The music features selections from Invincible arranged by Jay Dawson with percussion by Jim Reed. 

The band is led by drum majors Will Taylor, Ashton Conley, Silas Limes, and Javan Titus. Director of the band, Tyler Kemp is excited for this years show. This show “is going to be something you’ve never ever seen before” Kemp said. The band started work on the show during their summer band camp in July.

Kira Voth, Co-Section leader of the flutes has been a member of band for 4

years said she is very excited for this season and the music is a lot more challenging compared to previous years. She added “Mr. Kemp will be one of the top band directors in the state because of his grit and determination.”

The band will perform their show at all home football games, the K-State marching festival, Andover Southern Plains marching festival, and Band-O-Rama.
